Condition Requirements: To qualify for a full refund, products must be returned in like new condition with all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and materials included.
What's Refundable: You'll receive a refund for the product purchase price. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return reaches us safely.
How to Return a Product (4 Simple Steps)
Step 1: Contact Us for an RMA Number
Email our team at support@recordergear.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll respond quickly with an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization). This number is required for all returns—it helps us track your package and process your refund efficiently once it arrives.
Important: Returns shipped without an RMA number will incur a 20% restocking fee to cover additional processing costs.
Step 2: Package Your Return
Carefully pack the product in its original packaging with all included accessories, manuals, and materials. Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the shipping box—not on the product packaging itself. This ensures we can identify and process your return immediately.
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Send your package to the return address provided in your RMA confirmation email. You're responsible for return shipping costs, and we strongly recommend using a carrier that provides tracking. This protects you by confirming delivery and allows you to monitor your return in transit.
Step 4: We'll Process Your Refund
Once we receive your return, we'll inspect the product to confirm it meets our condition requirements. If everything checks out, we'll process your refund within 3 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation when your refund is issued.

Processing Time: We process approved refunds within 3 business days of receiving your returned product.
Bank Processing: After we issue your refund, it typically takes 3-7 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account, credit card statement, or PayPal account. Processing times vary by financial institution.
Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
What's Refunded: You'll receive a refund for the product price you paid. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
